Grains School
in Kyiv
The school building is located in the Kyiv region, on the territory of SHELEST hotel, surrounded by pristine woods, a lake, and a river. It can accommodate 80 students.
Facilities: two study rooms, event hall, natural surroundings, canteen, bomb shelter, inclusivity compliant
We offer students tuition free professional education with a certificate, free transfers from/to Kyiv, meals and coffee breaks, direct employment and (possibly) free accommodation.
Students can leave their kids under the attention of nannies at Grains childcare unit. The children will have their own activities program while their caregivers are studying.
Grains courses prepare students for the most demanded roles in the Hospitality Industry. Depending on the course subject, the duration is from 2 weeks to 4 months. Lecturers are chosen among the Ukrainian leaders of hospitality industry.

Grains is a non-profit organisation that integrates displaced people into new communities and secures their employment.
Launched in Ukraine with the aim to empower displaced people globally.1.2 billion people are projected to be displaced by 2050 from climate change alone. Source
To date, no government has a clear solution of how to integrate such amount of people into new communities economically and socially.
Grains is a collective project that unites the expertise of tech and hospitality professionals from the European Union and Ukraine. It was founded in 2023 by SHELEST Hotel and Madina Katter as part of their social mission to empower the people affected by the war and create a solution that solves the migration crisis.
Grains is meant to become a tool that helps Displaced People globally to integrate into a new place of living and find a well-paid job.
We will do that by creating a solution that connects government institutions, displaced people and hospitality players and tackles their issues.Apart from grants and individual donations, the school is largely funded by:
